I recently visited Lena’s home town Rothesay on The Isle Of Bute.

Wonderful as it was I went to see the Memorial Statue that is in the Discovery Centre.

I was blown away by it’s beauty  I stood for about half an hour just looking at it.  Reading the cards that people had left for her, she was much loved by people and very very missed.

I have taken some pictures, they don’t really do the statue any justice but I just wanted to share them with you.  I have also placed the cards that some people have sent in.  The messages I have left out as they are personal for Lena.

 No one could ever do enough for this little lady that had exceptional talent but the statue is a great start and a wonderful place to go just to be alone with your thoughts and remember just how great Lena Zavaroni really was.
