On my recent visit to Rothesay Lena's home town I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret Zavaroni. I also got to see her singing that evening which was a bonus because this was Monday and I thought she only sang at the weekends. Very talented and funny lady. She gave myself and Jeanette her time which I appreciated very much.
Who should walk into the cafe but Victor and Christine I could not believe my eyes. It was the icing on the cake for me.
The song you are hearing now is from her Reflections Album pictured below - This being my favourite. She sings this lovely. She signed her CD for me and I had a few photo's taken with her. I don't take the best picture in the world and boy do I look white! I have turned this into back and white as Margaret looks wonderful and tanned and I look like I needed a holiday - Desperately!
I am going to have a page on here with all her songs from the album eventually.
